Who I am
When I was a child, I wanted to be a zookeeper for dinosaurs. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be.
I ended up somewhere equally unexpected: a Master's in Multimedia Engineering, then years as a Full-Stack and Frontend Developer, before eventually finding my way to UX/UI Design. Turns out building things and caring about how they feel for people aren't so different after all.
After 13+ years working in cross-functional teams across IoT, eCommerce, brand consulting, and travel tech. I'm now freelancing from Berlin, doing the work I actually love.
I'm not the loudest person in the room (except maybe at karaoke), but I'm a great listener, and I genuinely care about understanding the perspective of the people I work with and the people they're designing for.
What I bring
Most designers think in pixels. I also think in systems, and in code.
My engineering background means I understand what's technically possible, what's expensive to build, and where design decisions have downstream consequences. That makes me a more useful partner for product teams and founders who need design that works in the real world, not just in Figma.
I focus on websites, webapps, and design systems - work where structure, clarity, and consistency matter as much as aesthetics.
How I work
I believe good design is 20% craft and 80% communication. I work closely with clients through structured check-ins, clear feedback rounds, and no surprises. If you want a designer who disappears and reappears with something polished, I'm probably not your person. If you want a partner who keeps you in the loop and actually listens, let's talk!
